Welcome to the Physics Human Resources & Academic Personnel Page

The Academic Personnel and Staff Human Resources unit in the Department of Physics offers administrative support to academics and staff. Services include recruitment, appointment, academic review, staff appraisals, labor and employee relations, benefits, leaves, payroll, and timekeeping. The HR and AP unit is dedicated to providing high-quality customer support, policy interpretation, and people-friendly guidelines within the Department of Physics to ensure alignment with the department's mission, vision, and values.

The Academic Personnel team manages all actions for ladder-rank faculty, teaching professors, adjunct faculty, lecturers, professional researchers, and postdoctoral scholars.

Staff Human Resources oversees administrative and lab staff, student employees, visiting scholars, visiting graduate students, and volunteers.
