Research Statement

I am interested in novel phases and properties in condensed matter and cold atom systems, including unconventional generalization of magnetism, orbital physics in transition metal oxides, superconductivity, spin-orbit coupling and spintronics, excitons, quantum phase transitions and criticality, strongly correlated bosonic and fermionic systems with cold atoms, and numerical algorithms for two dimensional quantum systems.
