Welcome to the Department of Physics at the University of California, San Diego . We wish to alert you to the excellent opportunities for graduate studies here at U.C.S.D. Our Physics Department has considerable strengths in many experimental and theoretical areas of current physics research, and our campus and general environment are particularly attractive.
