Calorimeters using a light bulb heater, or a resistance
heater are available to demonstrate the transfer of electrical Energy into
heat energy and light energy. They can also be used to demonstrate the specific
heat of water. A large digital thermometer can be used to display the temperature
(see digital
multi-meter).
