A large laser is used to illuminated sin gle-slit and double-slit slides. The pattern is displayed on the classroom wall.
Slides of slits of various dimensions and spacing are commonly used.
A variable slit apparatus is available...change the slit width smoothly to show the change in patte rn.
Slides with various pinhole patterns, fresnel patterns and multiple
slits are also available.
