Quiz 9 has been returned to the Mayer Hall racks.
Grades,
solutions, and
histogram are available in the usual places. I've also updated the
cumulative scores histogram to reflect the
Quiz 9 scores.
- 12/3/97
Due to popular demand, I've consolidated all the quiz averages and
links to individual quiz histograms on the grades page.
I've also put together a histogram of everyone's
combined scores as of Quiz 8. I dropped everyone's 3 lowest quiz
grades when adding the scores together, so this should be a reasonably
accurate representation of your current status in the class.
- 12/3/97
I have two quizzes both with code number 145687. Will the real

Quiz 1 is finally back at the Mayer racks. Sorry about the
delay. The grade list is posted to the glass cases along with the
histograms and statistics page.
- 10/10/97
Grades for Quiz 1 are now entered and available for you to check on the
web page. I'll return the quizzes to the racks in
Mayer or Student Affairs by Monday morning. I'm waiting for the updated
class list before I return the quizzes. Also, if you have the code number
690327 or 26924 please email me. I don't have your name
corresponding to your code number.
- 10/7/97
The grades database is now active. No grades
yet, but you can try typing in your code number and make sure that I
typed in yours correctly. Also take a look at the Return Quiz field
and make sure that it's the option you checked on your form (Y means
that the quiz will be returned to the Mayer racks, N means that the
quiz will be given to Student Affairs for you to pick up). If you
typed in your code number and it's not found, then either you're not
on my classlist or I mistyped your code number. In either case, email
me and let me know.
- 10/6/97
Homework 2 solutions are up. Take
a look before the discussion sections and problem session.
- 10/6/97
Quiz 1 solutions are now available.
Note that there was a mistake for the answer of problem 2b. The web page
and the glass case in Mayer should have the correct solution. I'll give
Soft Reserve the correct copy on Tuesday morning, so it should be available
by Wednesday.
- 10/1/97
I've fixed the Homework 1 Solutions
so that the images fit one one page when you print (at least on my system)
and the filesizes are a bit smaller. The images are a bit fuzzy because
of the resizing and the JPEG compression, but I think they're somewhat
legible. Let me know if you disagree.
