We have an experimental program in high temperature superconductivity, strong localization, and an extensive effort in fundamental physical properties of magnetic media sponsored by the Center for Magnetic Recording Research. We are actively developing modern instrumentation, such as atomic force and near-field optical scanning microscopes. We traditionally make use of electron spin resonance and microwave spectroscopies.
