Haik's research focuses on investigating a new computing paradigm, called memcomputing. It employs memory to both process and store information on the same physical location, like our brain, and it solves complex problems more efficiently than current computers. Haik is interested in understanding the physical basis for the power of this paradigm and in developing applications for this technology.
